My medical writing experience includes most major therapeutic areas, including autoimmune and inflammatory disease, cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, gynaecology and obstetrics, infectious disease (including HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and hepatitis), neonatology, neurology, oncology, parasitology (including schistosomiasis, trypanosomiasis, and leishmaniasis), respiratory medicine, and rheumatology.

In addition to clinical research, I have written about public health, international development, sociology, cultural studies, physical and environmental science, renewable energy technologies, and computer science.

I enjoy opportunities to learn about new fields, and I learn new material quickly.

Fees

The cost of your project will depend on the type and amount of work involved, the complexity of the project, and your specific requirements.

My fees may be calculated in one of the following ways:

  • Rate per hour for writing, editing, or translation of individual documents: I will provide an initial estimate based on the best information available concerning the project, including an explanation of the assumptions used. I will inform you promptly if these assumptions change.
  • A negotiated price for the entire project

I am also open to longer-term consulting agreements spanning multiple projects.

I offer reduced rates for non-profits, academic researchers, and others with limited budgets.

I will do my utmost to complete your project within the agreed budget and timelines, and I will inform you promptly of any difficulties that arise.
